Description
One of a series of paintings on clear primed raw linen with garden birds. This particular piece is stretched with Honsell linen on stretcher bars which wraps around the 2cm deep edges and then triple clear primed. The Robin was painted in PH Martin inks for lightfastness with gilded imitation gold leaf ornamental rose work. Suitable to hang as it is or as a set with other pieces from the collection.
This is a light shade of linen and as its a natural product it will evenly fade out over a long period of time depending on how much light it receives. A shaded home spot will maintain its colour. It will always maintain a natural look.
