This painting was created at Art in the Open Summer 2023, Europe’s largest plein air painting festival. It was here that I won an award this year. This painting was in the exhibition and featured a painting from one of the last days of the event.
Due to extreme weather conditions with storms, this painting one was done in a limited time frame and umbrellas at the ready. (Although someone’s art did fly off the quay and into the water below on account of an umbrella!) Fond memories and a wonderfully pretty place to paint.
