Warm yellows and purples Abstract

I'm exploring making abstracts based upon watery reflections in places like canals and waterways. I take images and sketches and convert them into the basic essence of tonality and light while adapting to different abstract colour ways. Really enjoying these outcomes. There is something calming in them.

This is painted to have an impasto textural effect. The edges of the canvas are painted in the a warm light gold/Ivory. 2cm deep edge ready to hang.
