Description
During Paint out Norfolk I was on my way to Wolterton and nearly there I came across this beautiful field and there was a very short lived sunrise. Early morning painting at about 7am.
So this wheat was about to be harvested and it was the hottest period of summer 2022. Where it reached 38 degrees locally. So it was only bearable to paint in the early morning or late evening. Or alternatively in the shade all day.
This painting is in oils on board. 35.5 x 35.5cm With scratched details with an oil shaper tool.
