This piece of art is representational of a monetary moment in time. We are in lock down and these coins that normally circulate (new pound coins 2016-2019) are being cast aside for cashless purchases due to corona virus. Representational of sterlings demise and of an economy in peril. Or perhaps representational of wealth. I let you decide. I thoroughly enjoy painting shiny objects and enjoy the shiny aspect of this particular challenge with their shadows on each other and no two being the same in colouration. Sure to make a big statement.
