Oil Painting on Board
So enjoyed painting on location in Itchenor. It was my first time there in June 2022. A beautifully sunny early morning on the mud flats right next to the harbour masters lodgings.
This painting is deliberately retracting of the deep darks I usually use. I enjoyed the pastel shades very much and have been inspired by several artist for this including Andy Farmer. In the distance, I've captured the masts of the anchored boats that line the estuary.
