Horses Gallop - Favourite Things

This Horses inspired piece is a unique style of fine art painting. Based upon my new collection called 'Favourite things' that is aimed at your/the publics favourite things.

I used a traditional brush based work and high quality lightfast inks on hand-made watercolour paper with an abstracted background.

This has been painted in Acrylic inks on specialist Two Rivers hand pressed 300GSM paper.

With this style of artwork I create the background ink study first and then looking at the abstract I decide on how best to incorporate a theme into the spaces available. In this particular piece the colours and patterns inspired me to a horse scene and I have used the ink patterns to inspire the perspective.
