Description
A commission for a client using their own photograph of Woking Park. In which they wanted a large and accentuated red stag in the foreground. We discussed what he wanted and I created photoshop mock ups of the composition before undertaking the final oil painting. The painting took around three months to create. I took to adding additional lighting compositional detailing to make it slightly more dramatic and the usage of some Franz Marc influence. Using angles and shards of light more so that colour ways of his style.
The client was delighted with outcome and we consulted on his favourite frame. Which was then made and added.
