Hockey Players

This Hockey inspired piece is a unique style of fine art painting. Based upon my new collection called 'Favourite things' that is aimed at your/the publics favourite things.

I used a traditional Brush/nib based pen and high quality lightfast inks on hand-made watercolour paper with an abstracted background.

This has been painted in Acrylic inks on specialist Two Rivers hand pressed 300GSM paper. Blue Black ink colour

With this style of artwork I create the background ink study first and then looking at the abstract I decide on how best to incorporate a theme into the spaces available. In this particular piece the colours and patterns inspired me to a Ski scene and I have used the ink patterns to inspire the perspective.
