Description
I'm working on a series of Surrey landscape paintings using strong lighting and exciting vibrant colour. This painting was made in Oil paint over a period of three days. This particular reference material was from Horsell Common the famous location for HG Wells War of the worlds. This is located 50 meters from the sand pit. There is a Birch lines avenue of trees with heather either side. The composition of this painting is made up of circles and lines of perspective. I aim for the light to oscillate, but making the lines of perspective not exacting .... just working around and towards the diminishing sunlight.
50 x 50 cm x 2cm Oil on Linen Canvas. Ready to hang with painted edges or could be framed.
