Indian ink on stretched canvas.
Since doing a collaboration of Art and Dance last summer, I've been exploring ideas of fluidity of movement and dance in the form of art. I’m really excited to be making these ink flow paintings with multiple layers to represent depth, movement and light/shade. With this one I was using colours from dance club and ballroom scenes, which tended towards violet.
The ink is high quality light fast brands and varnished with UV specialist spray to finish.
