I am delighted to bring to you this inspiring oil on canvas painting - a majestic Belted Galloway on the early-morning Common, accompanied only by dramatic shards of light as they pierce through the clusters of heather, pine and birch.

Using impasto painting techniques with a palette knife and applied with an impressionist feel, the vibrancy of colour in this piece comes from using a mixture of both Michael Harding and Winsor & Newton oil paints applied in layers.

An imposing painting suited for any colour decor, it is available both framed and un-framed. The frame is Vermeer Matt Black with Silver trim.

Much care and attention is taken in packaging my work for both national and international delivery. This item will be packaged firstly with an acid-free tissue paper to ensure a protective layer. All corners are protected with corner protectors. It is then finished with a triple wrapping of eco-friendly bubble wrap with two cardboard sheets and placed into another cardboard covering.
