This painting was created on location at Artramon Farm and House in August of 2018 while at an Art in the Open painting event. What an amazing view of Wexford in Ireland! Such a beautiful valley and of course lovely cows to frame the life element of it with its beautiful ruin down in the corner. A quintessential Irish landscape view created in oil and wax media for an impasto effect. I used a palette knife to create this painting which gives it a lovely freedom of mark making.
