A British woodland walk in the turn of autumn. Bracken, Birch and low light fills the air.
A really enjoy making paintings with back lit leaves and branches and especially at this time of year. I do a lot of plein air painting and this helped to me to create the painting and give it that sense of your being there.
Painted on the edges in a complimentary colour appropriate to the main image.
