Oils on board.
In September 2022, I ran a plein air painting event in which we had thirty artists from all over the country come out at paint in Surrey. During one sunset, two of us headed to Horsell Common to paint the heather and birch trees that spread over the popular nature walk.
I’m especially pleased with this one. The bright colours of the heather against the green and blue backdrop capture the serene moment.
