This is a studio piece based on oil sketches created at Newlands Corner near Guildford in Surrey. The panoramic vista at Newlands Corner lends itself well to these paintings. This particular piece was created with a large-scale pallet knife with thick acrylic paint to accentuate the sweeping hills. The edges are painted a pale blue in keeping with the image. This piece is ready to be hung as is or framed.
